Avengers: Doomsday Trailers Will Return… with Coyote vs. ACME!

Coyote vs. ACME (2026) lit up social media like dynamite yesterday with a new teaser, featuring new footage and a parody of all the promotion for Avengers: Doomsday (2026), announcing each member of the massive cast with their own teaser. This teaser spotlights (or rather, backlights) a certain long-eared drifter

The Coyote vs. ACME marketing is riding an interesting and important line between those who know the Looney Tunes and those who don’t. Those who know the Tunes know Bugs Bunny is the big marquee name. Those who have a passing familiarity are most likely at least familiar with what Bugs looks like since he’s the most common in marketing, merchandising, and general imagery: even in group shots, he’s usually front and center. Those who don’t know their Daffy from their Donald (not even enough to understand that play on words) get the impression from both this teaser and the initial trailer (which I covered earlier) that Bugs Bunny is a capital “B” Big Deal.

Just as in the first trailer, this teaser is underscored by classical music. Whether this music is for this teaser or from the film remains to be seen.

After a shot of a mysterious piece of paper fluttering through the desert and a shot of sound waves on a screen, Paige Avery (Lana Condor) looks at a computer screen while listening to what could be a phone or another type of sound device, perhaps listening to the voiceover we’re hearing.

“ACME has ears and eyes and ears everywhere.”

“Ears” must be important. I suppose they would be to a bunny…

The next shot has multiple screens showing footage from other Looney Tunes media, including the Looney Tunes Cartoons series. The shot shows footage of, starting from the top left, Gossamer, Sylvester, Yosemite Sam, Marvin the Martian, and a featherless Daffy Duck bouncing around. Since there are multiple screens and Paige is only looking at one screen, she may not actually be watching this footage in the shot.

A mystery car pulls up to a large building with “ACME” in neon lights during the night: by the looks of it, perhaps a factory.

Surrounded by cars that look a bit more old-fashioned, an animated character jumps through a hole. I have my theories on whom this may be; however, since they haven’t been officially revealed either way in marketing yet, I’ll keep that under wraps.

Then, a lovely gag that had me rewinding and replaying multiple times…

On a street sign reading “SCARY ROAD DR.,” a spider near a web holds a fly by the throat, wielding a knife as the fly takes out money to hand over, in the film, “Coyote vs. ACME” (2026).

“And they’ve made people disappear.”

This is when we get another interesting development: Paige looking at an empty birdcage. It looks a lot like Tweety’s classic cage. However, Tweety was prominently featured in the first trailer, even firing an “ACME EGGSPLOSIVES” toward the end.

Tweety’s shaping up to have a very interesting role in this film. That little bird has a big story inside him.

We get a bit more context on some footage from the first trailer (unless they’re cleverly cut together with other scenes from the film). Kevin Avery (Will Forte) appears to be looking at the ridiculously-redacted files from the trailer. We see a little more of the explosion Paige was shielding her face from in the trailer. There’s also new footage of Buddy Crane (John Cena) giving a threatening look in what appears to be a bathroom. The rest of the footage is from the first trailer, though with new context as we get the rest of the voiceover…

“I think I may be able to help you. I have information that could stop ACME. For good. So, uh, what is up, Doc?”

White text over a black background reads, “Bugs Bunny Will Return in Coyote vs ACME,” in a teaser for the film, “Coyote vs. ACME” (2026).

I also noticed there’s a white border around the shot of the silhouette. We’ll have to wait until the film opens to see why that is…

… Which, as this teaser reiterates, is August 28th.

The Coyote vs. ACME Twitter account has also been having fun replying to tweets with Wile E. Coyote holding up a sign with various messages on it, including Marvel references to further strengthen the Doomsday parody.

(Also, Daffy Duck will return.)
