The hosts of Cinephile Hissy Fit podcast, sponsored and supported by the Ruminations Radio Network, have no problem genuflecting to movies about movie-making and Tinseltown. Like many fans, they too wonder about the background stories and the highfaluting lifestyles that must be underneath the glitz and glamour we see on the silver screen. Well, in one big holiday movie release with eager Oscar aspirations, our show gets an eyeful, a noseful, and a mouthful of some of the dirtiest possibilities of that Hollywood underbelly.

For their 93rd episode, two roaring critics, two snakebit dads, and two school teachers, Will Johnson and Don Shanahan are joined again, for the second week in a row, with guest Cati Glidewell of The Blonde in Front for the second of two recordings. Just in time for its wide release, they break down the exhausting and decadent opus that is Babylon from director Damien Chazelle. The only thing that can match that movie’s energy is the reactionary energy from our trio attempting to talk about it. Come for the shared challenge and tirade and stay for the mutual love and respect for the fun movies encapsulate.
