We’re getting to that time of year when Christmas-themed movies dominate the streaming and cable satellite signals. The hosts of the Cinephile Hissy Fit podcast, sponsored and supported by the Ruminations Radio Network, are the kind of guys who consider Die Hard a definitive Christmas movie. Let’s just put that on the table now. Die Hard 2 went the merry route as well, which brings them to Die Hard with a Vengeance. That sweaty and sunny movie couldn’t be any more summer if it tried, meaning, for many of us living in colder states, it might be a better winter movie experience than the first two.

For their 176th episode, two hungover film critics, two jug-filling dads, and two stuttering teachers, Will Johnson and Don Shanahan, pop a few aspirins and take it back to 1995 to talk about Die Hard with a Vengeance, the New York City-based third film of the franchise. Our hosts sing the praises of the addition of Samuel L. Jackson and debate the possible difference between “favorite” and “best” when it comes to ranking the Die Hard series. This show is also a chance to send some flowers to Bruce Willis with his sunseted career. Come learn more and stay for the mutual love and respect that the fun movies encapsulate. Enjoy our podcast!
