In the heart of summer, young folks used to cruise in their signature cars, meet up with friends, listen to the radio, and dance the night away while avoiding their adulthood future. The youths of today probably still do a little bit of that, albeit with cell phones and Uber rides. It’s not the same as it used to be. Leave it to Will Johnson and Don Shanahan of the Cinephile Hissy Fit podcast to honor old classic haunts and old red-blooded traditions with a little drag race over American Graffiti.

For our 19th episode, 25YL film critics, farmer tan dads, and anxious school teachers Will Johnson and Don Shanahan hop in their podcast hot rods to hit the 1973 George Lucas streets of California. One of our hosts cruised with it, loving the hang out feel of it all. The other rolled over several bumps caused by all the misplaced pedestals this movie is given. See which host is which on this AFI-listed classic.

As Will and Don love to say, come for the shared challenge and tirade and stay for the mutual love and respect for the fun movies encapsulate. Thank you so much for your captive audience and social media participation! Enjoy our new podcast episode!
