Last week, the Cinephile Hissy Fit podcast, sponsored and supported by the Ruminations Radio Network, celebrated making to the finish line of a long Oscar season which culminates with the 96th Academy Awards on March 10. Last week, the show covered the many below-the-line categories with discussion and eventually sure-fire predictions of who and what is taking home the 13-and-a-half inch tall and eight-and-a-half pound golden statuettes. The show wasn’t afraid to talk up the year in film and which nominees shouldn’t be there and ones that should be instead. They saved the big categories for their own episode.
