The hosts of the Cinephile Hissy Fit podcast, sponsored and supported by the Ruminations Radio Network, are two guys who subscribe to many rosters of fandom. After all, Will Johnson is the Marvel Shill and Don Shanahan dabbles in all fields. One of many they unify their love for is the storied and celebrated James Bond franchise. They both have their favorite (and different) James Bond actors and movies, but the overall appreciation for the well-seasoned series remains strong. In fact, they found two fervent guests to join them with the template-of-templates: Goldfinger!

For their 180th episode, two golden film critics, two secret agent dads, and two laser-wielding teachers, Will and Don, brought in a pair of special guests for the first of two “guest’s choice” episodes. The podcast welcomed prolific creator Neil Shurley and returning guest and Phoenix-based film critic Ben Cahlamer to put their best pretend foot forward as a secret agent. Their mission was to hop back 62 years to honor 1962’s Goldfinger, Sean Connery’s third film as the iconic James Bond. Each man on the podcast dais speaks highly of this big hit that would be come the template spawning many other action flicks. Come learn more and stay for the mutual love and respect that the fun movies encapsulate. Enjoy our podcast!
