The Cinephile Hissy Fit Tears Up For Brian’s Song

In getting to know each other through the years of making content and talking movies together, the hosts of the Cinephile Hissy Fit found a common link. As fate would have it, Will Johnson’s father went to the same undergraduate college as his co-host Don Shanahan. That place is Saint Joseph’s College located in Rensselaer, Indiana. The school’s biggest claim to fame was being the summer training camp home of the Chicago Bears for thirty years from 1944 to 1974. During that time, the events that became the basis (and future filming locations) of the influential TV movie Brian’s Song took place there. That kind of confluence deserved an episode.
